Description

Alani Ryan, known as Loa, is a Marvel Comics mutant who first appeared in New Mutants vol. 2 #11 in 2004. Born in Hawaii, she discovered her powers during a confrontation with a shark, learning she can phase through solid matter and cause it to disintegrate around her as she passes. She enrolled at the Xavier Institute and was assigned to Alpha Squadron under Northstar. Her ability to dissolve molecular bonds makes her a formidable combatant despite her relatively brief time in the X-Men's world.
