Description

Cliff Steele is Robotman, a former race car driver whose brain was transplanted into a robot body following a catastrophic accident, first appearing in My Greatest Adventure #80 in 1963. Created by Arnold Drake and Bob Brown, he became a founding member of the Doom Patrol, the team of reluctant heroes defined by their unwanted transformations. His struggle with identity, isolation, and what it means to be human has remained central to the character across decades of Doom Patrol stories.
