Marvel Zombies

A 2005-2006 Marvel five-issue limited series by Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips. Set in an alternate universe where Earth's superhero population has been infected by a zombie plague, the infected heroes retain their powers and cognition but are consumed by an insatiable hunger for flesh.

The Marvel Zombies universe, first introduced in Ultimate Fantastic Four #21-23 (2005) by Mark Millar. In this reality, a viral infection transformed virtually all superheroes and villains into flesh-eating zombies who retain their powers and intelligence but are driven by an insatiable hunger. The main Marvel Zombies series by Robert Kirkman expanded this apocalyptic alternate Earth.
