Roy Harper
Description
Roy Harper is a DC Comics character who first appeared as Speedy, the teenage sidekick of Green Arrow, in More Fun Comics #73 (1941), created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. He became a core member of the Teen Titans before later establishing his own identities as Arsenal and Red Arrow. A skilled archer and combatant, Roy has served with the Justice League and the Outlaws among other teams. His character arc is notable for portraying themes of addiction and recovery in the Green Arrow comics of the 1970s.
