Description
Jaime Reyes is a teenager from El Paso, Texas who became the third Blue Beetle after a dormant alien scarab bonded to his spine during the events of Infinite Crisis. The scarab generates a suit of alien battle armor and has a will of its own, creating tension between Jaime and the weapon he carries. Created by Keith Giffen, John Rogers, and Cully Hamner, the character first appeared in 2005 and headlined his own series beginning the following year.
