Biography
Grzegorz Rosiński is a Polish comic book artist and illustrator born on August 3, 1941, in Stalowa Wola. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, he built an early career illustrating books and creating popular Polish comics. He began drawing Thorgal, written by Jean Van Hamme, in Tintin magazine in 1977, and after relocating to Belgium in 1981 the series made him one of Western Europe's most celebrated comic artists. He was knighted in the Belgian Order of Leopold in 2010.
