Edika
Biography
Edika was the pen name of French-Egyptian cartoonist Edouard Karali, born December 17, 1940, in Heliopolis, Cairo, who settled in France in 1976. He joined the satirical comics magazine Fluide Glacial in 1979 and became one of its most prolific contributors, creating 83 covers over his career. He was known for his absurdist and metatextual humor and his long-running series featuring the recurring cat character Clark Gaybeul.
