Patrick Shand
Biography
Patrick Shand is an American comic book writer, novelist, and playwright. He began his comics career in 2011 with Angel: Yearbook at IDW Publishing, followed by an exclusive staff writer position at Zenescope Entertainment where he wrote Robyn Hood for 39 issues, Godstorm, Grimm Fairy Tales, and numerous other titles. He wrote Charmed: Season 10, the twenty-issue official comic continuation of the television series. Beyond Zenescope, Shand has created stories for Black Mask Studios, Devil's Due, Joe Books, BOOM! Studios, Avatar Press, and Marvel, including tie-in comics featuring Iron Man, Thor, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. He has authored five original Marvel novels. Shand founded Space Between Entertainment, a graphic novel publishing company through which he releases creator-owned titles including Destiny NY, Snap Flash Hustle, Breathless, Little Girl, Prison Witch, Gangster Ass Barista, and Afterglow, along with the NSFW imprint Cheeky Comics. He lives in New York with his wife Amy.
