Biography
Katsu Aki is the pen name of Japanese manga artist Katsuaki Nakamura. He began his career in 1983 in the shojo magazine Hana to Yume and is best known for The Vision of Escaflowne (1994-1998), a manga adaptation of the mecha anime series, and Futari Ecchi, a long-running adult series that began in 1997. Manga artist Mine Yoshizaki is among his former assistants.
