Garry Trudeau
Biography
Garry Trudeau is an American cartoonist born on July 21, 1948, in New York City. While a student at Yale University, his campus strip Bull Tales was picked up by Universal Press Syndicate and relaunched as Doonesbury in 1970. In 1975 Trudeau became the first daily comic strip artist to win the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. He has also created and produced the Amazon Studios political comedy series Alpha House.
