Biography
Wendy Pini is an American cartoonist best known for co-creating ElfQuest with her husband Richard Pini. She began her professional career illustrating for science fiction magazines in 1974, then co-founded Warp Graphics in 1977 to self-publish the series.
ElfQuest became one of the first major self-published comics successes. Pini has also drawn for Marvel, DC, and Dark Horse, and was inducted into the Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 2019.
