Pat Boyette
Biography
Pat Boyette was an American comic book artist and writer who spent two decades producing work for Charlton Comics after prior careers in radio broadcasting and television news in San Antonio, Texas. He drew and often wrote hundreds of stories across Charlton's supernatural, science fiction, war, and western titles. Boyette co-created the Peacemaker with writer Joe Gill, a character DC Comics later acquired and cited as an influence on the Comedian in Watchmen. He received the Inkpot Award in 1980.
