Michael Northrop

Michael Northrop is a bestselling author known for his work with Scholastic, particularly the multi-platform series 'TombQuest'. He has received accolades for his young adult novels, including a citation from Publishers Weekly for his debut, 'Gentlemen', and his second novel, 'Trapped', was featured on the Indie Next List. His middle-grade book, 'Plunked', was recognized as one of the best children's books by the New York Public Library and was included in NPR's Backseat Book Club. Originally from Salisbury, Connecticut, he has a background in sports journalism, having spent over a decade at Sports Illustrated Kids, where he served as the baseball editor for the last five years.
