Pia Guerra is a celebrated comic book artist recognized for her significant contributions to the industry, particularly as the co-creator and penciller of the acclaimed Vertigo series Y: THE LAST MAN. She has received multiple Eisner Award nominations and was honored with the Outstanding Comic Book Artist award at the Joe Shuster Awards in 2006. Although she has been involved in various independent projects since the mid-1990s, her work on Y: THE LAST MAN marked a pivotal moment in her career.
