Description
A science-fiction series from Image Comics and Ghost Machine, created by Geoff Johns with art by Jason Fabok and colors by Brad Anderson. It takes place on Exodus, a terraformed colony planet whose entire ecosystem and imported wildlife were managed by Wardens, handlers who wear specialized helmets that let them communicate with and command animals. After the corporation Better-World evacuates its paying tenants and the planet's world engine fails, the Wardens left behind fight to preserve some order as Exodus slides toward collapse. At the center is a warden called Rook, who commands birds of prey and scavenges for a way off the dying world while rival factions battle for what remains. The tone blends frontier western, post-collapse survival, and pulp adventure. The opening arc tells a complete story set within the wider Ghost Machine universe.
