Empty Zone (2015)

Empty Zone is a sci-fi/horror series set in a blighted near-future city where the dead do not stay dead. Protagonist Corinne White is a haunted woman trying to outrun a violent past in a world of dystopian cityscapes, cybernetically altered criminals, and reanimated corpses spliced with animal DNA. The first arc, "Conversations With the Dead," follows her through the chaos of her home turf, while the second arc, "Industrial Smile," tracks Corinne and her companion Hank as they descend into the criminal underworld of Berlin. Jason Shawn Alexander writes and draws the entire series, delivering densely atmospheric horror rooted in personal reckoning.
