Independence Day (2016)

A five-issue miniseries from Titan Comics that bridges the twenty-year gap between the original 1996 Independence Day film and its 2016 sequel Resurgence. Writer Victor Gischler and rotating artists including Steve Scott, Ivan Rodriguez, and Alex Shibao follow Joshua Adams, a survivor of the first invasion who has rebuilt his life inside the Earth Space Defense network. Issues mix flashbacks to the alien war with present-day intrigue as new readings hint that the harvesters were not finished with the planet.
