Fred Hembeck
Biography
American cartoonist born in 1953, known for humorous parodies of Marvel and DC superheroes drawn in a distinctive bigfoot style featuring curlicues at characters' knees. He contributed regular strips to DC comics in the late 1970s and was a fixture in Marvel Age magazine throughout the 1980s. He also wrote and drew Fantastic Four Roast.
