Ishii Isami
Biography
Isami Ishii was a Japanese manga artist who debuted in 1957. He is best known for 750 Rider, a 50-volume motorcycle manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion from 1975 to 1985. He also created Kutabare!! Namida-kun and helped launch the career of manga artist Mitsuru Adachi, who worked as his assistant. Ishii passed away in September 2022 at the age of 80.
