Biography
American cartoonist born in 1975, best known for creating The Goon, a horror-comedy series that debuted from Avatar Press in 1999 before moving to Dark Horse Comics in 2003. The series won multiple Eisner Awards including Best Continuing Series and Best Humor Publication. Powell has also provided artwork to Marvel, DC, and co-wrote IDW's Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters.
