Don Martin
Biography
Don Martin was an American cartoonist whose work appeared in MAD magazine from 1956 to 1988, where he was promoted as 'MAD's Maddest Artist.' His humor was defined by rubber-limbed characters, hinged flapping feet, and inventive onomatopoeic sound effects that became his trademark. He created the bumbling superhero Captain Klutz and illustrated many best-selling paperback collections. After leaving MAD, he contributed to the rival humor magazine Cracked.
