This series is delivering big time. Issue #2 follows Dinah as she investigates two of Ollie's archer connections, Mia Dearden and Connor Hawke, and the way Pichetshote balances the detective work with the mystery of who is actually behind the green hood is fantastic. Every conversation peels back another layer of Ollie's past and the people closest to him, and nobody comes out looking clean. The confrontation with Mia at the kickboxing gym is a highlight, packed with real tension and great character work. I will say I was bummed that they killed off Connor so quickly because I would have loved to see more of him, but it absolutely drives home that nobody is safe in this book. Albuquerque and Maiolo continue to kill it on art. The lighting and color work in this issue is incredible, especially in the mansion sequence where everything feels straight out of a horror movie. The mystery of who Green Arrow actually is keeps getting more intriguing with every page, and the suspect list is getting more interesting by the issue. Cannot wait for issue 3.
