Description
Princeless: Princesses turns the spotlight on Alize, the oldest Ashe sister, and the strange road that led her to a tower guarded by a sphinx rather than a dragon. The story fills in how Alize came to befriend the desert elves and how she first fell under the family's curse of waiting to be rescued. Whitley uses the detour to enrich the wider world of Princeless and to give another sister her due as more than a name on Adrienne's list, blending backstory, adventure, and the series' steady belief that princesses can write their own endings.
