Description
Set against the backdrop of human history's bloodiest conflicts, this six-issue Marvel Comics limited series by writer Ed Brisson takes the Predator mythology through four decades of carnage before arriving at its central story set in the year 2056. Flashbacks revisit a mercenary squad hunted through Central American jungle in 1987, Predator prey stalking gang members in Los Angeles in 1997, a group of abducted humans stranded on an alien game reserve in 2010, and a military operation complicated by a Predator crash landing in 2018. In the present, humanity has achieved interstellar travel, and a young woman named Theta -- the sole survivor of a Predator attack on her family -- has spent her life hunting the creatures in return. Driven by grief and trained for violence, Theta tracks the specific Predator responsible for her loss across the stars, giving the series its emotional anchor amid the escalating body count.
