Description
Rainbow Brite is a five-issue Dynamite series by Jeremy Whitley and artist Brittney Williams that revives the 1980s character for new readers. Wisp and her best friend Willow are inseparable until the night Wisp realizes something is draining the color out of the world. A Star Sprite named Twinkle tells her she has been chosen to become Rainbow Brite, the one hero who can free the captured Color Guard and bring color back to Earth. Whitley grounds the bright fantasy in a real friendship, adding Willow as a new character and giving the story its emotional center as Wisp grows into her role.
