The Mountain of Judgement!
Jack Kirby's Fourth World saga continues as Superman, Jimmy Olsen, the Newsboy Legion and the Outsiders set out for the Mountain of Judgment, a converted missile carrier that is the mobile home of a youth tribe called the Hairies. Superman races to find and defuse a bomb hidden aboard the Whiz Wagon before it can destroy them all, while the Morgan Edge clone answers to a shadowy master. This issue holds the first appearance of the Hairies and the first, fleeting appearance of Darkseid, glimpsed on a monitor screen. Written and drawn by Jack Kirby.
