Big Bad Wolf

The Big Bad Wolf is a Disney comics character adapted from the fairy tale antagonist of The Three Little Pigs. He first appeared in the 1933 Silly Symphony animated short of the same name and became a recurring character in Disney comics.

In the comics, the Big Bad Wolf (often called Zeke Wolf) is a bumbling predator who perpetually schemes to catch and eat the Three Little Pigs, particularly the Practical Pig. His plans invariably fail due to his own incompetence and the pigs' resourcefulness. Despite his menacing reputation, he is portrayed more as a comic nuisance than a genuine threat.

The character has appeared in thousands of Disney comics published internationally, often in stories that pair him with his son, Li'l Bad Wolf, who rejects his father's predatory ways and befriends the pigs instead. This father-son dynamic has been a rich source of comedy in European Disney comics for decades.
