Kazumi Yamashita is a Japanese manga artist who began her career in shōjo manga, debuting in 1980 in the magazine Margaret. She later moved into seinen work, earning a Kodansha Manga Award for The Life of Genius Professor Yanagizawa. Her science fiction series Land has been published internationally. Her comics are known for thoughtful character drama across a range of genres.
