Issue #1

The story returns to 1954 and Godzilla's first emergence, reconstructing the kaiju's initial rampage on Japan from the perspective of the people who lived through it. The series focuses not only on the destruction itself but on the physical and biological toll the attack leaves on survivors.

This opening issue establishes the human cost of that first encounter and the beginning of a conflict between humanity and the creatures that will follow.
