The Funeral

A year after the Wake, New York has fractured into open conflict. What remains of the U.S. government fights for control of the streets while the Animilitary, a faction of newly sentient animals seeking a homeland of their own, carves out its position by force.

Jesse and Sandor are caught between these two fronts as they press toward the city's edge. Grief and loss shadow both companions as they encounter other survivors, each carrying their own version of what the world has become.
