The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (2015)

The debut ongoing series for Doreen Green, better known as Squirrel Girl. Armed with squirrel-level strength and agility, a bushy tail, and the ability to communicate with squirrels, she moves to New York City to start college while continuing to fight crime. Written by Ryan North with art by Erica Henderson, this eight-issue first volume takes Doreen from her first days on campus through a confrontation with Galactus and a battle against Ratatoskr, the Norse squirrel god of chaos. The series establishes the humor, warmth, and unconventional problem-solving that defined her subsequent runs.
