Cry for Dawn (1989)

A horror anthology series self-published by Cry for Dawn Productions and running nine issues from 1989 to 1992. Created by Joseph Michael Linsner, the book introduced the character Dawn, a goddess of birth and rebirth who would go on to anchor Linsner's later work across multiple publishers. The series launched during the late-1980s black-and-white independent comics boom alongside titles such as Faust: Love of the Damned and The Crow.
