Description

L.E.G.I.O.N. launched in 1989 as a DC space series featuring Vril Dox, ancestor of the Legion of Super-Heroes' Brainiac 5, building a new intergalactic police force to replace the fallen Green Lantern Corps. Keith Giffen and Alan Grant wrote the series, with Barry Kitson penciling the opening run. The title took its name from the Licensed Extra-Governmental Interstellar Operatives Network.
