Description

A ten-issue Vertigo limited series (2013-2014) by Scott Snyder and Sean Murphy. Marine biologist Lee Archer is recruited to investigate an unusual underwater sound in the Arctic Ocean.

The first half focuses on the discovery of a threatening new species. The latter half jumps two hundred years into a post-apocalyptic future where humanity struggles to survive. The series won the 2014 Eisner Award for Best Limited Series.
