Seven Soldiers of Victory
Description
The Seven Soldiers of Victory are a DC Comics team first introduced in the Golden Age in Leading Comics #1 (1941). Created by Mort Weisinger and Mort Meskin, they were among the earliest super-teams, uniting heroes such as Green Arrow, Speedy, the Vigilante, the Shining Knight, the Crimson Avenger, and the Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy. The name was later reimagined by Grant Morrison in a 2005 metaseries built from seven loosely connected miniseries. Across versions, the team represents a roster of lesser-known heroes uniting against large threats.
