Description

Black Jack's scalpel hand cramps without warning during pneumothorax surgery—the weakness that has blocked him from ever obtaining an official medical license. Tracing the spasm to a traumatic event in his childhood, the chapter is one of the few windows into what shaped the unlicensed surgeon.
