Yellow Tanabe
Biography
Yellow Tanabe is a Japanese manga artist who studied at Musashino Art University and worked as an assistant for Mitsuru Adachi and Makoto Raiku before debuting in 2002. She is best known for Kekkaishi, a long-running shōnen manga adapted into an anime television series and translated into numerous languages. Kekkaishi earned her the Shogakukan Manga Award in 2007. Her subsequent series Birdmen ran from 2013 to 2020.
