Biography
Japanese manga artist born in 1938, known as the King of Manga. Ishinomori trained under Osamu Tezuka before creating influential franchises including Cyborg 009 in 1964, Kamen Rider, and the Super Sentai series. He holds the Guinness World Record for most comic pages published by a single author with over 128,000 pages across his career. He died in January 1998.
