Mystery of the Elongated Man! / Danger on Wheels!

The Flash encounters a new hero in Ralph Dibny, a man who spent years obsessing over circus contortionists and eventually synthesized the active compound in their favorite soft drink, Gingold, to give himself the ability to stretch any part of his body. Operating as the Elongated Man, Dibny has been drawing press attention in Central City -- enough that Barry Allen suspects him of a series of thefts. The two clear up the misunderstanding when they work together to stop the real criminals, and Dibny becomes one of the Flash's closest allies. Written by John Broome, art by Carmine Infantino.
