Wally West
Description
A DC speedster and longtime carrier of the Flash mantle. Wally first appeared in The Flash #110 in 1959, created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino as the kid hero Kid Flash and nephew of Barry Allen. He gained his connection to the Speed Force through the same lightning-and-chemical accident that powered his uncle, eventually graduating to lead Flash after Barry's death in Crisis on Infinite Earths. Wally is frequently cited as the fastest version of the character in DC's setting and the one most attuned to the Speed Force itself. His stories center family, the Justice League, the Titans, and the loss and recovery of his speed across multiple eras.
