Aquaman

Arthur Curry, known as Aquaman, is the son of a lighthouse keeper and an Atlantean queen. He rules the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and is a founding member of the Justice League.

Aquaman possesses superhuman strength, the ability to breathe underwater, and telepathic communication with marine life. He can withstand the crushing pressures of the ocean depths and swim at extraordinary speeds.

His position places him at the intersection of two worlds, often mediating conflicts between the surface and Atlantis. Created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, he first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 (1941).
