Black Canary

Black Canary is a DC Comics vigilante most associated with the identity of Dinah Laurel Lance, one of the world's foremost martial artists. The character was created by Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in Flash Comics #86 (1947) as Dinah Drake before a mother-daughter legacy was established in later continuity. She is defined by exceptional hand-to-hand combat skills and her signature Canary Cry, a high-frequency sonic scream capable of shattering objects and incapacitating opponents. She is a longtime member of the Justice League and Birds of Prey.
