The Heat is On... For Captain Cold!; The Metal-Eater from the Stars!

The debut of Heat Wave, Mick Rory, a fire-obsessed criminal who turns to robbery and quickly draws a rivalry with Captain Cold -- both men have fixated on a local TV personality known as Dream Girl. Their running feud causes widespread damage across Central City until the Flash neutralizes them by turning their opposing weapons against each other, using Cold's freeze ray and Heat Wave's flamethrower to cancel out in equal measure.
