Year One (Batman)

Batman: Year One is a 1987 storyline by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli, published in Batman #404-407. The arc follows two parallel narratives: Bruce Wayne's early attempts at vigilantism in Gotham, and James Gordon's struggle as an honest cop in a thoroughly corrupt police department.

The main DC Comics universe following the Flashpoint event and New 52 relaunch in 2011. Prime Earth (Earth-0) serves as home to the primary versions of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Justice League.
