Chase Craig

Biography

Chase Craig was an American writer, cartoonist, and editor who spent most of his career at Western Publishing. From 1950 he was West Coast editor for Dell and Gold Key Comics, overseeing Disney titles including Walt Disney's Comics and Stories and Uncle Scrooge. He was Carl Barks's last editor. Craig created Gold Key originals including The Little Monsters and, with Russ Manning, Magnus, Robot Fighter. He received the Inkpot Award in 1982.
