Peter Bagge
Biography
Peter Bagge is an American alternative cartoonist best known for the Fantagraphics series Neat Stuff (1986-1989) and Hate (1990-1998), the latter following slacker Buddy Bradley through grunge-era Seattle. He won two Harvey Awards in 1991, one for Best Cartoonist and one for his work on Hate. More recent projects include graphic biographies of Margaret Sanger (Woman Rebel), Zora Neale Hurston (Fire!!), and Rose Wilder Lane (Credo). A self-identified libertarian, Bagge contributes political cartoons to Reason magazine, and received Comic-Con International's Inkpot Award in 2010.
