Better Angels, Chapter Five

By 1274, Demona and Angelika have settled in Japan, where they help a local clan raise a new generation of Gargoyles, including a young rookling named Katana. Demona has not let go of her search for a way to restore Angelika's youth.

Now widowed, Angelika is more focused on keeping her mother from hardening further into the bitterness of the centuries to come. The clan is then attacked by a new force of Gargoyle hunters. Greg Weisman and Frank Paur close out Better Angels in this final chapter.
