Description
My Little Pony: FIENDship Is Magic is a five issue IDW event from 2015, with each issue a self contained spotlight on a major villain from Friendship Is Magic. The lineup digs into the origins of King Sombra, Lord Tirek, the Sirens, Nightmare Moon and Queen Chrysalis, framing their stories through diaries and recovered memory. The Sombra chapter traces a lonely foundling raised in the Crystal Empire and his friendship with Radiant Hope, while the Tirek chapter follows a young Tirek and his brother Scorpan as they fall in with a power hungry hermit. The anthology drew on several writers and artists across the pony line.
