Dark Horse Comics' first ongoing Star Wars title, published 1998-2002 across 45 issues before continuing as Star Wars: Republic with #46. The run spans the years leading up to and just past Episode I, weaving original Jedi like Ki-Adi-Mundi, Quinlan Vos, Aayla Secura, and Sharad Hett through major prequel-era events.

Writers John Ostrander, Timothy Truman, Jan Strnad, Pat Mills, and others collaborated with artists including Jan Duursema, Tom Raney, John Nadeau, Davide Fabbri, and Kilian Plunkett. The arcs include Prelude to Rebellion, Outlander, Emissaries to Malastare, Twilight, Infinity's End, The Hunt for Aurra Sing, Darkness, The Stark Hyperspace War, The Devaronian Version, and Rite of Passage.
