Solano López (1928 to 2011) was an Argentine comic book artist best known for his collaboration with writer Héctor Germán Oesterheld on El Eternauta, first published in 1957.
He worked extensively in Argentine comics throughout his career and continued drawing El Eternauta sequels into the 2000s. López was a central figure in the golden age of Argentine comic art.
